So what I gathered from this is that software engineers will have jobs, but the requirements for getting a job in the field will shift more towards having an understanding of system design and frameworks/tools. And an engineer who understands these things can more effectively instruct AI on how to assist in creating good code, while ensuring the necessary standards and safety are met.
