If you buy an original artwork, or commission an artwork, and you confirm it was AI generated, request a return directly from the marketplace vendor, as "inauthentic or bootleg product" whatever they classify that under, or file a claim with your payment processor. When these AI prompters start taking hits to their wallet, maybe they will start to learn the lesson. If these marketplaces like Etsy start losing revenue and having to process a noticeable number of returns, they will start policing this themselves. AI prompters should have to list their "work" as AI generated- after all no one should care, right? It's just as valuable as hand created art, right? This is ALL about capitalism. Show these hacks what the market will tolerate. If I buy art and you give me AI slop, I am getting my money back.
