disabled artist here, i've been drawing and writing since i was in first grade and i liked the attention that came with being the art kid. art is accessible for me in ways other things are not because it does not strain my body to relax and draw. honestly it's ableist because like what do you mean i can't make art without the help of a computer doing it for me? it's literally not even "art" it's not "inspired" because that's an algorithm, those bad boys don't feel no feelings...
i can't do Things for the life of me too. being able to create art has given me a sense of self worth. the executive dysfunction and physical weakness combo really sucks and then i start doubting myself, and then i draw something cool and maybe i smile a bit at my work because well golly isn't this guy cool and i made him all on my own isn't he my silly little homunculus :3
