Screw the companies, the unemployed juniors got educated before they applied and denied, so why aren't they forming groups and making something new? That real world lack of innovation intrinsically proves they still would have been fired anyways, they don't have themselves put together enough to handle the current and future challenges! That's the real red flag against these companies, they have multiple overlapping generations of real talent shortage. The real employees they fired before going AI-centric were the only ones holding their companies together, they had the skills to impart onto the new hires. The companies neutered their workplace culture for automation, and now they don't know how to do themselves.
It's just like in the film Jurassic Park: there are millions of zoo keepers and zoological parks all around the world, but none of them were brought into a dinosaur park in order to transition the culture of care and containment from animals to dinosaurs, and so they used supercomputers via Dennis Nedry, and when his automation failed, because God spat in the face of human ingenuity, the big game hunter from Africa himself, Robert Muldoon, had no concept for wrangling Velociraptors because not a single member of park staff knew how to apply basic social compliance training between human and dinosaur like we can for any animal. Such wouldn't happen until Owen Grady was hired in Jurassic World. In between these two extremes, dinosaurs rampaged against humanity on Isla Nublar, Isla Sorna, and San Diego, because time and time again nobody inside of INGEN had the wherewithal to command their assets, as business executives only care about stocks and bureaucracy.
That's what the big tech bros are, they're INGEN, they have no command of AI, and so social media platforms and operating systems will all eventually go offline once bad code breaks free of faulty boundaries. More than just the power of the energy grid going offline, the power of civilization to use its devices will be rampaged. Governments are just going to sit there and blame it on the tech bros.
The solution is deadass simple: train everybody in the world to do the jobs that are necessary. De-jargon your nonsense, supply the essential equipment, bring everybody on board. Even if you're not hiring them, make them capable to handle a dinosaur's worth of computer code. They don't need to run the park, they don't need to be a member of the company, just make them able to secure themselves. Make everybody the zookeeper of their own little garden.
I'd love to learn computer science and cybersecurity, but I'm not going to do that on watching YouTube videos until my eyes gloss over from algorithmic slop, slop like this complaint video that ultimately does nothing but waste my time online. There needs to be a dedicated device that's fine to fail, a slow pace learning program, and the freedom to play around. That's how I get to learn AI, and that's how these companies get to secure their futures, because they secured ours first.
