If they automate every job, who’s gonna pay for products and services? All the jobless people? Rich investors aren’t looking downrange that far. They only care about their individual fast buck! The future isn’t their problem, but eventually even those at the top are going to be up shit creek. You can’t outsource every job to computers and expect the economy to keep roaring away. All those workers are also consumers. Robots can’t be a self licking ice cream cone if they don’t eat ice cream.
