In my personal opinion, AI is most viable for something like a human-AI fanfiction collaboration, where you're primarily relying on your own legitimate fan creativity, as opposed to someone else's fan creativity. For example, I would convert my own crossover fanfiction plots and character profiles to ChatGBT before having ChatGBT contribute long narratives and dialogues.
