For me, anything that doesn't have to be precise, is art because is up to subjection on how it should be presented, and up to the same subjection on how to be read. for this same reason, a same piece of art can be held on a different regard. Art is story, not bragging rights. You brag about how much it costed you, and how much soul you put into the art, not about the end product. I SWEAR GOD, nobody knows about it, but actual artists BEG for some of the process to be replaced by an algorithm, ANY. Flat Coloring for example. It is an alternative to painting, but nobody I know likes to go manually flat coloring a full animation. PLEASE make AI art useful as tools, not as the end product.... and not unsupervised either. --------------- If you wanna compare with photography, AI art is also a nice tool to Brainstorm (an alternative to Pinterest, even if its full of AI art now, bruh.). Problem is that AI, is still AI, it only is an aproximation that takes exponentailly longer to get closer to what you actually want, so It may, and WILL fail to be as precise.
