Even the most wicked of actions are used (Judas), for Gods ultimate glory and purpose. Pray, do penance and have peace going toward, never turning away from or rejecting the cross. These things must happen. God had different plans, humanity has not developed as He designed, but the free will of man, good or bad, is incorporated and used for His greater glory and the end.
