It feels a bit like the PFAS problem, big companies (or singular with PFAS i think) just doing what they want just to get as much money as possible, self regulating safety, and no care about anything but themselves. Even now when the public found out PFAS is horrible and everywhere, they still try to continue (with succes) production. i have a feeling these AI tech companies will do the same. Evading new regulations as much as possible.
