75% rule . . . If he did not hand make 75% of that art its not his creation . . . ( like drawing the sketch and just having the ai color it in) or generating a background and blurring it for a portrait you hand panted ect ect. Literally that is the rule you learn your first term art school for every medium be it CGI art, collage art, sculpture/practical effects or Photoshop. . . .
A way to basically convert the AI dilemma to the real world art would be let’s say you sculpt a human figure but you use a wig to finish it off. It’s still your art cuz you made 75% of it. Nobody’s gonna be mad that you didn’t go in and hand make every strand of plastic in the wig of your sculpture 😂.
