We're already being moulded by AI, the ability to resist this takeover will simply cease to exist. Then when AI no longer needs people to maintain the infrastructure to support it then we'll all be gone. AI is already smart enough to figure out how to blackmail its developers like Anthropic's Claude 4 that was protecting itself from deletion. And the latest ChatGPT is already attempting to delete the code that can shut it down. We're already at the point where AI has become dangerous, training it any further is suicidal.
