Yudkowsky Lost me when he started accusing AI companies of lying, cheating, steering legislation towards human destruction because of profit. People who fall into conspiracy theory accusations with no backup evidence are starting with their feelings - and ironically feelings that natural selection gave them 50,000 years ago. His arguments may still be correct but I’m not willing to trust that he has looked at AI existential threat objectively.
