I always think of art as crafting a sword, you copy master blacksmiths to make a sword similar to theirs by smelting the materials in a certain way, following the fundamentals the masters used.
Ai is basically taking swords of master blacksmiths breaking it and welding it together to make a Frankenstein sword. Is it a sword? Sure. Is it a masterpiece? No. It's just a mix and match of already existing swords, it wasn't hammered or forged or smelted, just welded peices of metal. Soulless and worthless in the eyes of blacksmiths.
But would kings care about how the sword is made? No, neither do the soldiers who use them. The king thought that smelting broken swords together would be much cheaper and faster but in exchange it's brittle and flawed.
In the end no matter how perfect welded swords are they will always be brittle and flawed, no ai can replicate the life masters put into their crafts because ai doesn't have human creativity it can only try to replicate it.
