This is a lot of cope, the Midwest are desperate. They take the most optimistic and short-sighted AI developers quotes, and pretend like because that didn't happen then their jobs are okay.
Dear midwits; if you're stupid enough to think that AI isn't going to take your job, then whatever job you have will definitely be replaced because it's currently occupied by a stupid person an AI is definitely going to replace that.
