Hi! I’m an artist with autism, which has resulting in motor control issues that makes my handwriting look like “a mix of print, cursive, and hieroglyphics” It is definitely harder for me to work with physical mediums, and for that reason I find myself drawn to digital stuff, but that entirely excludes what I call “generative image technology”. It’s not ai. It’s not art. This technology would cut out what I love the most about art, the ability to express myself in one of the few ways I click with. I don’t want some machine stealing from other artists to try and generate a false simulacrum of the way I am and feel. It feels to me like cutting the purpose of art from art.
