I sincerely believe that AI will result in people not needing to work like they do now. It’s not a bad thing though - it’s a huge step forward for humanity, allowing people to focus on the things they enjoy outside of work. However, the US is not equipped to provide for its people properly in that scenario, and I agree with Alberta that most of us will be thrust into poverty and manual labor.
