Tesla isn't even a full Level 5 autonomous car that can drive on its own completely, it's just a level 3 or 4 at best, meaning it only supports a little bit the drivers handling but still needs supervision at all time. Only Level 5 cars having all necessary sensors are true autopilot and can drive completely on their own in traffic, but they're not for sale yet
