It's not that messy. AI does not learn like a human, it is not the same. Pro-AI people will claim It's the same, but most of them don't understand what the technology is.
Furthermore, it's a tool that can not work without that trained data. Imagine making a hammer without the wood for the handle. Now, if you chopped a limb from your neighbor's tree for the handle, is it now yours simply because you made something new?
In this analogy, a human artist learning from another would be like planting your own tree first, cultivating it, and then using that tree to make your hammer. It is completely different from AI.
