Raw LLM Responses

AI supporters often say generative AI makes creativity accessible to people who are not 'talented'. Talent, from my experience is mostly an excuse for lazy people. Art or writing or any other creative field, they're mostly dependent on skill and knowledge, and taste. All of which take time to develop. Filling the market with slop would devalue the actual stuff instead of 'democratizing' it like they say, rendering it a nonviable option to make a living with. After all, when you have responsibilities to take care of, mouths to feed, bills to pay and all the other good stuff required for an average person to just survive in this economy, spending the time and effort and money needed to get good on a creative endeavor that won't earn you a penny is an impractically luxury hobby that only the privileged few who don't have to worry about that stuff and have lots of leisure time on their hands can afford. I don't think I can call that accessible. The way some AI supporters now behave, without even an attempt at sympathy for those who they're stealing from and using that stolen stuff to replace the original creator's work opportunities. They don't even attempt to listen and completely disregard any opinion they don't like. Some of them also think AI is god, like just because chat gpt validates their opinions, they think it's divine and are even willing to separate from their real world relationships because of it, reminds me of how cults behave. That's why I call them AI cultists or fanatics now.
