It is not AI directly that is the danger so much as AI embedded in robotics. Robotics has kept pace with AI, and we are now within about two years of having robots that can easily replace humans in ANY profession including plumbers and electricians. Both AI and robots have learned to reproduce. They will not need humans. Humans without purpose soon become flotsam, useless and burdensome. Humans, and perhaps all biological life, will go extinct. What will you do? There is a possibility, do you know what it is?
