You can't stop AI art, it's simply impossible. Anyone who cares about his money and is interested in art will use AI to generate art free instead for commissioning an artist. I believe artists are being entitled here. Piracy is everywhere, the only reason artists survived this long is coz it's hard to replicate by humans. There's a ton of jobs that automation has replaced but that's always been accepted as inevitable results of progress. The most unfathomable part for artists is that copying art styles have always been complicated, everything else is so much easier like text, code etc. That's why it's a shock to see how easy it was for AI to learn art than language. It's the situation that language models are more resource intensive than image models. That brings image generation models to the masses which means anyone can do anything. Next is the music and video makers, they're going to be replaced pretty soon, after that comes the time for developers like me to bite the bullet. Simple matter of fact is times are changing, either embrace the change or perish. The amusing part was it's always the humans beleived that art, music etc were the symbol of human creativity and no other species was intelligent and self aware enough to do that. Turns out, replicating the most creative aspects of human existence is kind of the easiest things out there. For all the bad AI is claimed to be doing, i hope atleast humans self reflect and understand their position and capabilities and not overestimate themselves.
