It’s not just ai that’s the problem- what we CURRENTLY have is also causing huge problems. More people than ever have no social skills from being chronically online. Children spend long periods of time no longer speaking to each other or their families. Parents no longer have the capacity to give attention to their children over their devices. More people than ever are being brainwashed from endless, long term mindless consumption to do things like have life ruining plastic surgery or transition genders (speaking from experience). Billions of humans are spending 80% of their lives in front of a screen- when we know the best feelings, the deepest memories are human interactions and new real world experiences. The only interaction most friends have now is watching tv together, or sitting in the same room on their iPhones. Billions of people are replacing real life love with endless porn and ai chat bots. These technologies are instantly addictive, and our brains fully aren’t built for them. My question is when will it end? And will it ever end? Or does this mass scale disconnection to real life just keep getting indefinitely more intense?
