Photography, cars and similar things had something to ADD. They improved things, made things better, did something that the ORIGINAL COULDNT. And ai is very capable of that. Protein folding, physics simulations graphics rendering, prediction systems, but not AI images. Artists have been doing this for thousands of years and much better. AI in this case just competes with artists adding nothing, if anything IT TAKES AWAY for thr field of art. The first invention to make humanity worse. Well maybe not the first, but that is its entire purpose when its applied here. If its so hated, so universally youve got to consider, maybe theres a reason? Maybe theres more than one? And mybe it just takes some time until feelings are turned into arguments
