Older gens are working longer holding onto jobs that would be filled by new grads. Theres also the influx of useless degrees making it worse as well. Companies also have incentive to not hire as they found running a skeleton crew during covid increased profit while the same amount of work was done with less man power. Companies have no incentives to hire new staff at higher wages when the older gens do the same work for less pay and take a sense of pride in it. AI has made all this way worse.
