I definitely was guilty 50/50 with saying please/thank you when I first started AI, but ever since I started using it to help with conversational Spanish, I can’t help but *always* be polite when I use it.
My favorite way of ending my practique: “Lo siento, necesito un descanso. Muchas gracias por la ayuda.”
(Edit: and it usually responds: “Cuando quieras continuar, aquí estaré. ¡Hasta luego!” Who wouldn’t like that?)
