As an artist myself, it’s really stupid to call people who just put something into a prompt artist because what work are they putting into it? What hard work are they doing? They’re not spending hours on end perfecting an artwork that they did by hand instead they’re just asking something to make it for them that’s not artthat’s image creating not art that’s very different. It would be one thing to use AI as an inspiration photo, which would make sense if you’re doing it by hand using the inspiration photo but if you’re just using AI to make the artwork itself, it’s not art it’s just prompting.
