Amazon and Google function as common carriers already... AI just brings the whole sector into alignment in the same way. We should nationalize the services and provide them to every American. Their business model DOES NOT MATH anyways... like, genuinely it doesn't work whether you expect advertisers or individuals to subsidize the massive energy cost per token in the world that they want to scale to... They **NEED** Government to step in and make sure the bubble becomes "a giant tech spend" rather than "The bubble that brought on the great depression"... at the rate they're burning capital here the ONLY possible result is the destruction of Capitalism itself. It should very much be considered a matter of defense that these AI companies MUST succeed in bringing about hyper-abundance because the alternative is Mad Max up in here.
