Wonderfully said and very informative - thank you, Senator Bernie. It's incredible that driverless taxis like Waymo are already in use. As someone who lives in NYC, I can’t help but wonder how driverless taxis would hold up here. Between the aggressive driving culture, unpredictable pedestrians, and general urban chaos, it feels like a tough environment for autonomous vehicles to operate safely or be treated respectfully.
