Curious what your view is on mathematically generated art? Not an img generator trained on other art, but visualizing data or an equation? I was going to make the argument that I felt it was okay to use AI generated art as a placeholder for something commissioned by a human but then I realized that there is a wealth of free assets shared online made by people so NVM lol And 10/10 do agree, art isn't about being born with some special talent. While yes there are people that are born with a predisposition to being good at art, just like there are with music and programming and any other skill. You can still practice and put in the effort to learn and even surpass people that are predisposed to be able to do the thing well. So many people see something they like and say "oh I wish I could do that" no they don't because they could. They just don't want to enough to put in the effort. I code because I love it. I respect people that can play music and do art, but that's not what I'm passionate about. Though I will dabble a little bit sometimes just to practice specific skills because they transfer to other things.
