The only thing those working on imagining AI are missing is the spirit world. There are limits to the physical world. If a spiritual God created this universe, he probably will limit what can be done in it including destroying humanity. Biblically, at the time of the final judgment, the world/universe will be destroyed (which will include whatever level AI has attained). God then says he will create a new spiritual world in which people with spiritual bodies and souls will populate. Computers and AI can not exist in it.
