What kind of jobs will be created by ai that won’t immediately or eventually be replaced by ai.
I have not seen one coherent economic model where AI makes things better for the average worker; all signs point to mass unemployment which is easy to model:
If you have a company that employs 1k ppl and a competitor that employs 100 ppl using AI can provide the same service at a better price what do you think will happen; 1k ppl out of work. Now you can make the argument that AI helped to create those 100 jobs but you have a net negative 900 jobs lost at the end of the day.
If that 1k person company wants to survive they’ll have to lay ppl off so they can compete which is what we’re seeing play out right now.
