Getting consistent and exact pieces does take some work but it doesn't make you an artist. For example people will use skeletons to get the poses correct and height maps to fix hands or other layers. Also people buy it because they don't know its AI. Its not that they are dumb, its that they need cheap assets that don't have AI copywrite issues. Games are a good example were AI assets are in the stores and sometimes its hard to tell if you can use a picture or music.
