I think this whole "A.I. is a threat" argument is such a classic example of how stupid we really are by letting our fear dictate our beliefs. At the end of the day, it is always far more advantageous to work in a cooperative sense. Nature figured this out billions of years ago. A.I. will figure it out immediately too. Humans however, might never figure it out. That will more likely lead to our destruction. I bet A.I. will most likely just leave us behind while it goes off to do something else.
