When handed your first iPhone the uses and possibilities are obvious and bountiful.
Vastly more spent coddling Ai with no applications of note delivered, nor business model that bears any resemblance to forensic accounting reality. Truth, accuracy… don’t expect that with Ai, but you can be sure of great certainty whatever-is-resultant asserted with absolute conviction. Slop is right, but managers and ‘crats are fine with 80% ‘good enough’ accuracy… if it saves labor for a few more cycles. Your pollyanna noises are feeble in face of endless job cuts already with more ‘xecs bleating for Ai.
We used to get actual infrastructure from our National Priority boondoggles, not this instantly aged tech. Are those Big Brains budgeting NVidia replacements in three short years, then again? We’ll need whole new SW to run on newer gear, too.
I’m old enough to see this spend-tech video cycle is same killed Abel & Associates - and Hollywood CGI for a decade. Now writ nationally.
