I think the fundamental belief of AI shills is that they don't see art as art, they see it as content to be consumed. They don't want to be engaged, they want to be entertained for a moment and then scroll away. From that perspective, the artist themselves doesn't matter: as much as the consumer is concerned, they should just shit out content like a machine for the consumer, the more the better. It's a consumptionist approach to culture
