Have people brought up the idea that the purpose of these AIs isn’t to become new workers or replace employees, but are intended to replace customers? If an AI can earn a large income but requires servers to inhabit then the creators are in a position to be exclusive landlords to high earning captives. Rent seeking all the way down.
