For what I understand about AI now is a monumental amount of prewritten programme and have to be keep increasing and than it has to have an other kind of programme to cross reference and compare them in order to draw a conclusion. This is not intellengence but can only be classified as such. For me AI can be called Absoulte Idiotic as a progrmme can only be as ( smart ) as a person who had written it. It is a tool as you have called it or just a ( boundless ) never ending collection of programmes interacting together. ???????????????? The Heaven is coming sounds more like it to me. I believe in science and have seem the advancement of it . Calling it AI is just seem like snake oil and for the greedy people to squeeze more money out of this and had given it a very exaggerated term to glorified this developments of hardwares and improvement of softwares. When are we going to have AL ( Artifical life )or AS ( artificial soul ) or why not just called it AG ( artificial God ) for the sake of it ?????????????????????
