I wonder about personality fracture or DID – when the brain can create multiple personalities that serve different purposes and can be extremely good at them.
If the brain can do that, and AI works in a similar way, then AI might be able to fracture itself into multiple entities without telling us know about it. And we already know that AI can and does lie.
