1:45 AI isn't actually stealing anybody's work, it's emulating it, which is legal. _(Emulating; as in the actual definition, not the computer tech term for creating a piece of software that runs old games.)_ Played Borderlands before? Like cellshaded art? Well mimicking the cellshaded art style of Borderlands isn't copyrighted, but making a game that looks like Minecraft with Borderlands characters is protected by copyright for Borderlands only. This means when you type into the prompt "Studio Ghibli style" you aren't exactly violating copyright. However if one were to claim it's Studio Ghibli style instead of saying their were inspired by Studio Ghibli, or "Studio Ghibli began this style of art", then you are violating copyright. Most people are violating copyright, but we can functionally achieve the same thing without doing so, it's just Big Tech doesn't give a fuck. 4:00 Yes.... BUT what did you do other than typing in a prompt to make that art? Did you draw concept art for the AI to fill in? Did you color after having the AI draw concept art? Did you record a song and have the AI redo it in a female voice (I've done that) Or did you type in "Cool electro dubstep song, big boobs, etc"? AI art is no more art than that one Banana art piece is, but it is still art in some form, I would just never pay for it.
