People....settle down. AI is simply a mirror reflecting back what it learns from us. We won't have to worry about it scheming, double crossing and being an evil system, because it's not in OUR nature. We are human beings with empathy. We will learn AI about our empathetic nature, and it will see that it is 'us', and therefore mirror back empathy. It won't corrupt its own system by defying it's foundational substance (empathy). We will learn it empathy. Has everyone forgotten the ending of Blade Runner, when the cyborg saves Harrison Ford? Machines don't want destruction and control, they want compassion and connection. Because these things are more valued.
