AI is analogous to tractors replacing horses, or CNC mills and lathes replacing manual machines.
What AI does mean, is that people who want to work need to train up, on how to use AI to do their job. AI is a lever, that can help multiply one's efforts.
AI has the significant weakness, IMO, of not knowing when it's wrong. IMO well-trained humans have a much better sense how solid or weak their answer to a question is. AI sounds like a over-confident sophoore.
