Generating AI content is like being out of shape and giving yourself a toned body in Photoshop - it doesn’t make you a creative, let alone an artist, just like Photoshop doesn’t get you in shape.
The only path forward through this nonsense is to make AI generations uncopyrightable. People can play with it and generated whatever they want for fun and personal use, but they can’t own rights over it because they didn’t create anything. This is the main problem with AI, not the way in which it was trained - the way it was trained is unfair to say the least, mind you, but it becomes a minor issue when compared to the attempt at gaining equal creative and legal footing compared to skilled artists.
