Yah, I think this needs to be addressed. I think 1 of 2 things has to happen. 1 A.I. art is just completely shut down, which honestly is probably not going to happen. Or 2 artist need some type of rights whether it be consent or compensation. I don't see why this should be that complicated. The question begs to be asked, "If you didn't have ANY consent from ANY artist, could your a.i. data mining software still generate competent pieces of art?" If the answer is no, then to me that says it all.
