Tesla autopilot is no better than paying attention to the road, and knowing how to truly drive your car in emergency or on the limit situations. The TC and ESC are no better than other cars, and tesla's are incredibly heavy, meaning they inherently have less grip and braking ability. Just know what you're getting into before you assume your tesla is fool proof, and remember that being alert and aware, and also knowing how to drive your car, is better than a computer.
