I knew once one Software Engineer graduate who said that C has no pointers. Patiently, without insulting him I told him that it has. C++ particularly seems to me as a never-ending subject. Maybe C is shorter and better to focus just on that? My horizon of understanding is that beside the core concepts of the loops, conditionals, logic operators, arrays, functions, references, pointers, structs/objects, there is something needed to be done with that. Level up to that I suppose are algorithms and data structures. Now, I have some ideas, simple card games and even harder, maybe, "space invaders" clones. In terms of the scripting kind of language, maybe a dating app or shopping app from scratch. I would also like to be able to program for some retro platforms. My math level is of high school.
Edit: Suppose that when you say "reference loop", we could actually "rotate" structs/object to which that references points to?
