So I'm not an artist, but I'm currently studying English Literature. It is not uncommon for people around me to question my decision to study English because "AI programs can do the same work in a matter of seconds." What people fail to understand is that all AI "creative" work is ultimately soulless. There is no passion, thought, or creative drive behind the generated text or art; it's all just meaningless elements from stolen work crudely sown together. Everything that makes art so meaningful just isn't present in AI "creations"
