The thing I keep repeating is that…the economy WILL collapse.
IF AI is going to automate almost all jobs in the next 5 years, the rich will get richer..they will want more and thus they will put prices on everything way higher, even basic needs.
But WE will get POOR, unable to find a job to sustain ourselves and have basic needs.
The question I always ask people pro AI is: “if everyone is poor, nobody will have comodities, not even the ai you promote..so what will we do THEN?”
And not everyone is willing to do a 180 on their career. I’m studying to become an artist and I sure as hell ain’t putting off my studies to…work on AI. Hell that job won’t even be a thing by 2027 because AI is ALREADY SELF SUSTAINABLE AND LEARNING.
Point is, we’re doomed one way or another…by the most advanced pattern recognition system ever created. Absurd.
