This is all very true, but you did not mention what comes next. All of that prompt handholding for the next 3 days or so in your experiment gets abstracted into a few reusable "skills". I write skills for claude code and re-use them even when I'm using codex cli to give the custom guardrails it needs and feed it the benefit of my 30+ years of development experience. Is this "perfect"? Of course not, but its a natural evolution given these new toys we have to play with. I have skills for certain types of UIs and certain types of backends that adhere to what I really need to build and why. Totally different outcomes if you approach it this way. End result though I (as a human) MUST remain active and present at all times.
