60.000 CCTV camera's in the UK, that was at least ten years ago so more now. If you rely on footage to help you with a crime then you wont get any help. Footage they show you will be grainy, out of focus and next to useless. Or because they do not want to do the donkeys work to chase down criminals they show you footage of a car with no license plate and then say that is all they have. Despite there being 5 cameras on that road within 400 yards. Lazy asses.
Police are now also wanting to roll out, unchallenged, face recognition tech on top of police vans. We are in a de facto police state. No, and, if, or ,buts. A total police state. We need to get permission from the police to even have "large" demonstrations.
