The idea that GLMs are truly needed to "help" people write creatively has always been a bad faith argument and a beard for the grift. To honestly believe it, you would need to be almost completely ignorant of not only what a GLM is and how it works (and to be fair many AI Bros are), but also of creative writing in general and the skills pertaining (again, to be fair, many AI Bros are).
